Charmaine Sheh to Quit Drinking Cold Drinks in the Morning

Charmaine always had a bad habit of drinking cold drinks first thing in the morning. Fortunately her body never had any major illnesses. However, Charamine hopes to quit this habit and strengthen her health, allowing her to take on additional work opportunities.

Charmaine's greetings: "Hopefully Hong Kong's economy continues to improve and benefit everyone. I wish for personal health and the opportunity to film diversified roles in more movies. Filming in movies is very fun!"

Raymond Lam Vows to See the Doctor Speedily

Raymond Lam has a bad habit of neglecting to see the doctor when he is sick. This affects his recovery process and immune system, causing him to catch a cold easily the next time and weakening his health even further.

In the new year, Raymond vows to see the doctor speedily whenever he is sick. There is no need to delay, as an illness must be dealt with immediately. He does not want to hold the responsibility of passing germs to others.

Raymond hopes for improved health, as an artist needs a strong body in order to handle the demanding workload.

Raymond's greetings: "Hopefully there will be less man-made and natural disasters this year! I wish for the health of all the veternans in the entertainment industry and that Hong Kong's economy continues to improve!"

Raymond Lam Yearns for True Love

Due to the Lunar New Year holiday, Raymond Lam Fung had a rare opportunity to be off for several days. He wished to shop for flowers at the flower market, so that he can decorate his house with peach blossoms.

"I prefer to go to the flower market after midnight, in the early AM hours. Shoppers will be focused on purchasing discount flowers at the time, so they will not pay attention to the people around them. It is more relaxing to shop without others noticing me!"

"It is a Fujianese tradition to only buy a kumquat tree for Lunar New Year. The kumquat tree would be decorated with red envelopes filled with money. When I was a child, I would always be curious and check how much money was inside each red envelope! But I no longer do so as an adult."

"This year, my family is not in Hong Kong to spend the holiday. I decided to break the rule and buy some peach blossoms, to increase my luck with people!" Raymond said that he will let love run its natural course, but he does wish for true love!

What was Raymond's goal for the new year?

"Of course my family's health. I want to continue improving my career and aside from TVB series, I hope to film for other productions as well, as this allows me to learn much more!"

With two days until the new year, Charmaine Sheh was still filming yesterday for "The Drive of Life" and she indicates that she has two days off during the new year, but on one of these days, she will be taking part in a group greeting event for the company. She reveals that she had originally been invited to take part in a New Year Show in America, but she had to turn it down because of her filming and so she will take the time to rest in Hong Kong. Asked if she has lost out on a lot of money by turning this down, she says: "I won't say! You can't earn all the money."

Asked if she has been to the Flower Markets, Charmaine says that she may go. She remembers that one year, she went at midnight and there were a lot of people there. She wore a face mask and a hat, but she could not get through anyway. If she goes this year, she will wait until 3am or 4am. Does she buy Plum Blossom? Charmaine says she does not and there is not much New Year atmosphere in her home. She did visit her grandmother earlier for dinner and was presented with a potted kumquat plant. Did she give a big lucky packet to her grandma? Charmaine says: "Of course I did!" She also says that if she has time, she will go and visit her family and friends and collect some lucky money.

Many people like to gamble over the New Year and Charmaine has already invited a few friends to join her for a small gambling party, playing any games that take their fancy. Does she feel she has gambler's luck? She says: "Sometimes! I have tried betting on random numbers and winning a few thousand dollars."

Pearl's Note: Notice that they both prefer to go to the Flower Market after midnight! Can you imagine CharRay, hand in hand, strolling down the street at night with beautiful flowers along their path and shining stars in the vast sky above them? I can!
